Following the unlawful execution of the prominent pro-democracy leaders, the Myanmar military junta has moved the 77-year-old pro-democracy deposed leader Aung San Su Kyi into solitary confinement in a Prison. The military junta overthrew the elected government on February 1st, 2021, and detained most leaders and political figures on the day. Aung San Su Kyi was one of them, she has been kept under house arrest at an unknown location in Nay Pyi Daw ever since, and she has been accused of many crimes against her.
Just yesterday, the military moved her into solitary confinement in a Prison, location is undisposed. She has been charged with at least 20 crimes and accusations that could potentially get her a maximum jail time of more than 100 years. This transfer came about under the Myanmar Military Junta rules when they order all her legal proceedings against her to be held in a prison instead of a courtroom.
The noble prize winner now sits isolated from the rest of the world and country and she has to proceed with the hearings within a prison for the many accusations against her.
All these extreme unlawful measures are taken against the people, the elected government, and political figures so that these despicable Myanmar Military Dictators could stay in power and sits on the throne. While they are enjoying the power, and riches of the country, the whole country is plunging into the abyss.
