The Saffron Revolution 2007

This was the famous Saffron Revolution back in 2007 when I was still at a young age and had no idea what was going on. It was the first time I saw horrific videos of monks getting shoot by the military while they were peaceful chanting Dhama and demonstrating downtown Yangon. My dad was watching the clips of shootings and the chaos that was happening in downtown Yangon. It was the first time I feel so ashamed and scared to be a Burmese that was under the military government authority. From that moment on, I thought to myself and promised that I will do whatever I can to help uncover those brutal untold truths about the people in Myanmar that are living in fear. They have been living ever since, to a point where they are even used to it.
