A brutal year under the Military Rule

It has been a year since the Military dictators attempted a Coup d'é·tat and seize control of the country. It has been nothing but misery for the people living in Myanmar. I am sure every one of you must have heard about the news about the killings and brutal arrests in Burma. Is not just those horrific acts that the military regime is carrying out onto its own people.
Everything has been spiraling down and going downhill ever since the military seizes control of the country, it is a train wreck in every sector. Not just the brutal acts that everyone has heard about, but the people are suffering from all sides. Due to the political changes, most businesses shut down and most of all, the increasing rate of poverty for the people.
My view is plain and simple, this military regime should immediately step down and give the country a chance to grow back into its original state again. The people will only have to suffer more if it keeps going on this way, I sincerely do not see any light at the end of this tunnel. The military dictators and the people associated with them have taken more than enough from the country's resources and their wealth can sustain their families for many generations. I am no expert in politics nor have a clue about how political parties work or manage the country. But I do know that democracy is the way to go, and the people need to be free from this suffering ever since February 1st. More businesses both foreign and local will thrive only if under a democratic government, and not a Military rule. The people's voice has to be heard and the military dictators should step down effective immediately. Free Burma.
